The new TGR v2 hub is a modern hub designed for building lightweight yet stiff road, gravel, and cyclocross wheels. Its light and durable construction, made from precision CNC-machined aluminium, ensures high rigidity and a wide range of available configurations. The hub comes in a 28-hole version for both:
- straight pull spokes
- and classic J-bend spokes.
Two disc mounting standards are also available:
- Center Lock
- 6-bolt.
This allows it to be paired with various rim types and custom wheel builds. The 36-point engagement ratchet system ensures fast power transfer, resulting in a very short dead angle of crank rotation. In practice, this means instant pedalling response - especially valuable when exiting corners or during sprints. The large contact surface distributes forces over a wider area, making the system exceptionally well-suited to high torque loads. With proper maintenance, an additional advantage is greater durability compared to other hub types. Thanks to compatibility with Shimano HG 12-speed and SRAM XDR driver bodies, the hub performs excellently with modern road and gravel drivetrains. Furthermore, the cone construction is shared across all driver body variants, meaning that when swapping the driver body, there is no need to touch the hub cone. Simpler and easier - that was the idea!
