Poland’s champion Marta Turoboś came 4th in the World Championships in the MTB eliminator on our Peak 29 Carbon bike!

The Championships took place on the other side of the world, in Chengdu, China. It was the first important test for the duo: Marta Turoboś and Peak Carbon. We equipped the bike with SRAM X01 Eagle group, a Rock Shox Sid WC fork and Accent components. As you can see the test was successful.

Marta came second in the quarter final and in the semi-final – thus getting into the final. She ran out of luck in the last run and so in the end Marta finished the race in fourth place.
This is what Marta Turoboś had to say after the race: “If someone had offered me fourth place just a few days ago, I would have taken it, no questions asked. However today, as often happens in sport, I feel a bit disappointed, because I know that the medal was within reach. But I am also very happy. And I feel strongly motivated to improve on this result next year.”
