72 hours - that was the time limit for the riders taking part in Great Lakes Gravel - ultramarathon on a 470 km route on the gravel trails of Warmia and Mazury in the northern Poland. Most of the riders covered the route much faster.

Accent Bikes, as a partner of the event, was present in Wilimy with its new collection of gravel, cyclocross and road bikes to show them to participants. It was the fisrt time when e-Furious bikes - Accent gravel e-bikes were shown to a wider audience.

The biggest show, apart from e-gravels, was probably made by Freak Carbon - our gravel bike, dedicated for bikepacking, in new 2021 configurations.

It was the first, historic edition of this gravel race. The fastest GLG participants covered the route in just over 17 hours! Many riders chose non-stop riding tactics, others decided to rest at night. There were also beautiful Masurian views on the route, different depending on the time of the day. Fortunately, most of the time the weather turned out to be favorable, even it was the end of September. This is the uniqueness of ultramarathons - you have to be prepared for everything!
